Other functions and featuresThe conj button (keys shift, _) finds the complex conjugate of the number following in the expression entered. It has no effect for numbers that have zero imaginary part. The π button (keys shift, p) gives you Pi. You can emulate polar–rectangular conversion provided you are happy to work in radians. Simply enter the coördinates in rectangular/polar complex notation and evaluate the result with the display set to the other notation. Since, polar notation always gives arguments in radians, you cannot do this with angles in degrees. Copying valuesThe Copy button (shift, Copy, key ctrl-C) copies the value currently stored in the calculator to the system clipboard. This might be for copying and pasting from the calculator to other applications. Last modified: Sat 31 May 2008 01:10 pm |
